Alexandra-Maria-Lara

Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian German film and TV actress famous for her performance in films such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. She was the sole child from Romanian acting star Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra got into the world of show business early, and ended up acting in lead roles on various shows on television by the time she was sixteen. The Oscar-nominated film Downfall her character as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are two other Oscar nominees featuring models. Alexandra is engaged in numerous important projects both locally as well as internationally. These include British biographical Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and the French historical miniseries Napoleon among others. In addition, she is a jury member at two festivals: The Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
